Your affiliate partners in Manila sell through Shopee all day and want their commissions in ShopeePay. Your bank wire cannot reach that wallet, and a bank detour costs them days.
ShopeePay payouts in the Philippines with stablecoin settlement close that gap. You fund in USDC or USD, lock a quote, and your recipient gets Philippine pesos (PHP) in ShopeePay in under 30 minutes.
Shopee is where Filipino online shoppers already spend. It holds a 42% share of Philippine e-commerce platforms, and ShopeePay takes 10% of e-commerce payments in a market worth PHP 2.1 trillion. Paying into that wallet keeps money inside the app your recipients use most.
This guide covers why wallet payouts from abroad still stall, how the stablecoin flow works, and what to collect from recipients. It then walks through your first ShopeePay payout by dashboard and by API.
Why Paying ShopeePay Wallets from Abroad Is Harder Than It Should Be
Domestic top-ups into ShopeePay are simple for Filipinos. The friction starts when the money comes from another country.
Small cross-border payments are expensive. Sending small amounts abroad costs an average of 6.36% of the amount sent, according to the World Bank. On US$15,000 of monthly affiliate commissions, that average would cost US$954 every month. We break down more of these costs in the hidden costs of international payments.
Wires stop at the bank. A SWIFT transfer can only reach a bank account. Your seller then has to cash in to ShopeePay themselves, often paying a fee to do it.
Your recipients are digital first. Digital payments reached 64.7% of retail transaction volume in 2025, according to the BSP. Sellers expect earnings to land where they already buy stock and pay bills.
Unverified wallets reject credits. ShopeePay limits non-verified accounts to PHP 10,000 in inflows. A payout to an unverified seller can bounce or get stuck.
ShopeePay Payouts in the Philippines with a Stablecoin Layer: How It Works
Yativo is payment infrastructure, not a bank. We use stablecoins as the settlement layer between your balance and the Philippines. A licensed local payout partner then credits the ShopeePay wallet on the ground.
- You fund your Yativo float balance with a fiat or stablecoin deposit, such as USDC.
- Yativo converts the payout value to USDC and settles it on-chain.
- A licensed local payout partner in the Philippines receives the stablecoin settlement.
- The partner converts USDC to PHP and credits the recipient’s ShopeePay wallet.
- Your recipient sees pesos in their ShopeePay balance, ready for orders, bills or transfers.
Your recipient does not need a crypto wallet. They never see or touch stablecoins. On their side, the payment looks like any domestic transfer into ShopeePay.
ShopeePay is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and works for online orders, QR payments and transfers to banks and other wallets. For more on the settlement layer, read how to receive international payments in stablecoins.
Supported Payout Rails for the Philippines
The featured method for this guide is PHP Local Wallet, gateway ID 1368, with ShopeePay selected as the wallet. Our Philippines list also covers other wallets, bank accounts and USD.
PHP Local Wallet: ShopeePay
Gateway 1368 pays Philippine e-wallets in pesos. ShopeePay appears in the method catalog with the value ph_shopee.
Required details: the fields returned by the form for gateway 1368. Expect the holder’s name, the mobile number linked to the Shopee account and the wallet selection.
Settlement time: payouts to ShopeePay settle in under 30 minutes.
Limits: 100 PHP minimum and 999,999 PHP maximum per payout in our catalog. The recipient’s verified wallet limit of PHP 100,000 usually binds first.

Other wallets on the same gateway
Gateway 1368 also pays GCash, GrabPay and Maya, all in under 30 minutes. See our GCash payouts, GrabPay payouts and Maya payouts guides for wallet-specific tips.
PHP Bank Transfer
Gateway 1364 pays Philippine bank accounts in under 30 minutes. It suits larger supplier invoices or sellers who outgrow wallet limits. We cover it in our Philippines local bank transfer payouts guide.
POBO and USD alternatives
POBO (Local), gateway 1063, pays in PHP on a next business day (T+1) basis. If your recipient wants dollars, SWIFT, gateway 689, settles T+1. Availability depends on your account, so check the live list before you build.
Recipient Details to Collect Before Your First ShopeePay Payout
The form in your dashboard, or the authenticated GET /beneficiary/form/show/1368 call, is the authoritative field list. Our public documentation does not publish this form yet. Collect the details below during seller onboarding.
- Legal name: full name exactly as verified on the ShopeePay account.
- Mobile number: the number registered to the Shopee account, usually in 09XX or +63 format.
- Wallet: ShopeePay, so the payout routes to the right e-wallet.
- Verification status: confirmation that ShopeePay is fully verified and active.
- Seller or affiliate ID: optional, for matching payouts to your own records.
Ask sellers for a screenshot of the ShopeePay wallet page showing a verified status. It saves a failed payout later.
How to Send a ShopeePay Payout via Yativo
Option 1: Dashboard (for manual payouts)
- Fund your Yativo float balance with either a fiat or a stablecoin deposit.
- Go to Transfer in your Yativo dashboard.
- Select the float wallet you are paying with, for example USD, EUR, MXN or whichever balance you funded.
- Choose the customer you are paying on behalf of. This step is necessary for fintechs that run payouts on behalf of their customers.
- Choose the Philippines as the destination country, then the PHP Local Wallet payout method with ShopeePay as the wallet.
- Enter the recipient details the payout form asks for, such as the account holder’s name and the mobile number linked to their ShopeePay account.
- Enter the amount in USD or PHP.
- Review the quote: exchange rate, fees, delivery time and the exact PHP amount your recipient receives.
- Confirm with your PIN and 2FA.
- Track the payout in real time and download the receipt for your records.
Option 2: API (for automated and bulk payouts)
Every endpoint below is in the Yativo API documentation. Production calls go to https://api.yativo.com/api/v1, and the sandbox runs at https://smtp.yativo.com/api/v1.
Authenticate every request with the X-Api-Key and X-Api-Secret headers. Each key only works from the server IPs listed on it. These keys replaced bearer tokens, and login tokens stop working from servers on October 15, 2026, as covered in our October update. Every POST also needs a unique Idempotency-Key header.
Step 1. Generate a USDC funding address on Solana to top up your USD balance:
POST https://api.yativo.com/api/v1/crypto/create-wallet
X-Api-Key: $YATIVO_API_KEY
X-Api-Secret: $YATIVO_API_SECRET
Idempotency-Key: 9a52e364-7fb1-4da5-a60c-9d1425b6e705
Content-Type: application/json
{
"currency": "USDC_SOL"
}
Step 2. List the payout methods available for the Philippines:
curl "https://api.yativo.com/api/v1/payment-methods/payout?country=PHL" \
-H "X-Api-Key: $YATIVO_API_KEY" \
-H "X-Api-Secret: $YATIVO_API_SECRET" \
-H "Accept: application/json"
PHP Local Wallet is active and carries gateway ID 1368. Always read the ID from the live response instead of hardcoding it.
Step 3. Fetch the required fields for that gateway:
GET https://api.yativo.com/api/v1/beneficiary/form/show/1368
X-Api-Key: $YATIVO_API_KEY
X-Api-Secret: $YATIVO_API_SECRET
The response lists every required field and the accepted values. For the wallet selection, ShopeePay uses the value ph_shopee. For exact field names, see API documentation.
Step 4. Create the beneficiary. Replace the placeholders with the field names the form returned:
POST https://api.yativo.com/api/v1/beneficiaries/payment-methods/
X-Api-Key: $YATIVO_API_KEY
X-Api-Secret: $YATIVO_API_SECRET
Idempotency-Key: ab63f475-80c2-4eb6-b71d-ae2536c7f806
Content-Type: application/json
{
"gateway_id": 1368,
"nickname": "Mark Dela Cruz",
"currency": "PHP",
"customer_id": "e8caa491-57b6-4c39-9e3a-d2c97e47fbf0",
"payment_data": {
"{wallet_field_from_form}": "ph_shopee",
"{other_field_from_form}": "{value}"
}
}
Step 5. Optionally, lock your rate. Quotes hold for 5 minutes:
POST https://api.yativo.com/api/v1/exchange-rate
X-Api-Key: $YATIVO_API_KEY
X-Api-Secret: $YATIVO_API_SECRET
Idempotency-Key: bc740586-91d3-4fc7-882e-bf3647d80907
Content-Type: application/json
{
"from_currency": "USD",
"to_currency": "PHP",
"method_id": 1368,
"method_type": "payout",
"amount": 250
}
Step 6. Initiate the payout from your USD balance:
POST https://api.yativo.com/api/v1/wallet/payout
X-Api-Key: $YATIVO_API_KEY
X-Api-Secret: $YATIVO_API_SECRET
Idempotency-Key: cd851697-a2e4-40d8-993f-c04758e91a08
Content-Type: application/json
{
"debit_wallet": "USD",
"amount": 250,
"payment_method_id": 7592,
"customer_id": "e8caa491-57b6-4c39-9e3a-d2c97e47fbf0",
"quote_id": "4a72ecf8-6c8a-4e38-9971-8aabe9f785ed"
}
Use the id from the beneficiary response as payment_method_id. For marketplace payout runs, repeat the call per seller, as described on our payouts page.

Best Practices for ShopeePay Payouts
Require verification at onboarding. Make a verified ShopeePay account a condition for wallet payouts. It removes the PHP 10,000 inflow cap.
Watch the PHP 100,000 ceiling. A verified wallet holds up to PHP 100,000. Send top sellers to bank transfer once their earnings approach that level.
Match the verified name. Shop names and display names often differ from legal names. Use the name on the verified account.
Batch by payout cycle. Pay sellers on a fixed weekly or biweekly cycle and lock one quote per batch. Quotes hold for 5 minutes.
Reuse one playbook. The same flow powers our Argentina bank transfer payouts and Kenya mobile money payouts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does my recipient in the Philippines need a crypto wallet?
No. Your recipient gets Philippine pesos in their normal ShopeePay balance. They never touch stablecoins, and the credit looks like any other incoming transfer inside the Shopee app.
Is it legal and compliant to pay Filipino sellers this way?
Yes, when the payout runs through regulated infrastructure. Yativo is registered with FinCEN as a Money Services Business, registration number 31000270723339. A licensed local payout partner credits the ShopeePay wallet, which is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Your own tax and reporting duties still apply, so confirm them with your compliance advisor.
How long does a ShopeePay payout take?
Payouts to ShopeePay via Yativo settle in under 30 minutes. The quote shows the delivery time before you confirm, and you can track every payout in real time.
Does the recipient’s ShopeePay account need to be verified?
Yes, in practice. Shopee says new users must complete full verification to activate ShopeePay. Non-verified accounts are capped at PHP 10,000 in inflows, so verification is what makes regular payouts work.
How much can a ShopeePay wallet receive?
Our catalog lists a minimum of 100 PHP and a maximum of 999,999 PHP per payout on this rail. A verified ShopeePay wallet can hold up to PHP 100,000, with a PHP 100,000 inflow limit. Route larger payouts to a bank account instead.
Can I pay GCash, GrabPay or Maya with the same integration?
Yes. Gateway 1368 also lists GCash, GrabPay and Maya as wallet options. Only the wallet value changes. See our GCash payouts, GrabPay payouts and Maya payouts guides.
